Presidential Office of the USSR Maria Valeryevna Khrunicheva worked in the Department of Correspondence and Reception of Citizens at the Presidential Office of the USSR. She made translations and synopses of letters written in English to the President of the USSR from all over the world. Her work is notable for its accuracy, thoroughness and efficiency. We express our gratitude and satisfaction with her work in the office.

Dear Masha, just to let you that the prisoner Josif Koinov, about whom you translated so kindly two letters into Russian has been released... the case is now closed. Thank you so much again for your help. Claire Chettoe, coordinator of "Children of Chernobyl Fund"
Masha has helped the Children of Chernobyl Fund over the years by advising us on the correct translation of technical and everyday terms.
She also ran classes in basic Russian for members of the charity who wanted to be
able to communicate better with the children who stay with them...
Such was Masha's enthusiasm one of her pupils set up the Somerset Russian Circle which gave Russophiles the chance to meet and speak the language together, several of her pupils became members.
Roger Adams, former Head of Russian, Millfield School, Somerset, England
You probably have 400 pupils by now, clamouring to be taught by Somerset's finest Russian teacher.
Graham Jeffs
Chief Executive, Mendip District Council, Somerset, UK
Mendip District Council is one of Maria Carr's customers for both interpreting and translating services.
I have frequently given Maria translation work (English/Russian) of a highly technical and complex nature with a very short deadline and she has always beaten the deadline with time to spare. Some of the work has been translating PowerPoint presentations, some producing workbooks for teachers and other professionals and some translating papers for presentation at meetings and conferences. Some of the work has been from disc, some on a laptop which I have handed to her and some from manuscript. I have never had a query about meaning or accuracy and always been pleased with the presentation style.
We have also employed Maria as an interpreter for Russian speaking trainees who have spent time in Mendip as part of European Union funded projects and the trainees have been very complimentary about Maria's skills.
I am pleased to recommend Maria's professional services.
